ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

  • Abstracts should be submitted via the on-line submission system only; abstracts submitted by fax or email will not be reviewed.

  • All abstracts submitted online will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee.

  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.

  • All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

  • The content of the abstract should not have been previously published or presented at national or international meetings prior to EAP 2023.

  • To correct an abstract that has already been submitted or to submit another abstract, please use the log-in and password which you received when you submitted your original abstract. This will enable you to access the previously submitted abstract/s or to submit an additional abstract/s.

  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract.

  • After your abstract submittal you will be sent an automatic e-mail confirming your successful submission.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Presentation type:

    1) Oral

    2) Poster

  • Abstract title:

    Each word should begin with a capital letter with the exception of transition words

  • Abstract body:

    The Abstract body should be no longer than 300 words in total

  • Abstract structure:

    Please structure your abstract using the following headings:

    – Background

    – Objective

    – Methods

    – Results (if relevant)

    – Conclusion

  • Images and tables must be uploaded as JPG, GIF or PNG.

IMPORTANT

Only accepted abstracts of fully registered and paid presenters will be included in the final scientific programme. The presenting author is expected to attend the Congress and present his/her oral or poster presentation.
Presenters are requested to settle their registration payment by March 29, 2023.

TRAVEL GRANT

The EAP Congress and MastercCourse 2023 is the perfect setting for young professionals not only to discuss their research with internationally renowned paediatricians but to further improve their knowledge in the paediatric field.

EAP would like to provide this year as well the opportunity for young trainees to learn and grow; and  therefore happy to offer a total of 5 travel grants to cover partial flights to the Eap Congress and Master Course 2023.

Application must be sent to the EAP 2023 Secretariat no later than 10  March 2023.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

  • Applicants whose abstract was accepted for oral or poster presentation.

  • Applicants must be a permanent resident of the EU member states.

TRAVEL GRANT RULES

  • Applicants must provide a written statement by their head of Department confirming trainee status.

  • Applicants must submit a copy of their ID confirming their residency.

  • Only those who have registered and paid for the Congress can apply.

  • All applications will be judged based on the scientific merit of the abstract submitted to the Congress.

  • Reimbursement of the registration fees will be done up to 60 days after the Congress.

  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Awardees information is to be published on the Congress website.

  • Requested documents (a copy of the ID and the written statement) must be sent by 10 February 2023 to congress@eapaediatrics.eu

  • When submitting your application, please mention your abstract number (indicated in the abstract submission confirmation email).
